After three years in the works, I’m proud to announce my first Art Book, The Art of Scale, edited and published by Fenris Publishing.
It features a selection of my artwork comprising over 100 color images as well as many of my best drawings in cleaned up grayscale versions which aren’t available anywhere else. Most images are put in context with captions detailing their inspiration and meaning to me.
The book is also an essay on anthropomorphic/furry art in general, using my ownworks as examples of the recurring themes and patterns I read into it – my own attempt at offering a critical lens of anthropomorphic art, both in and out of the fandom. I paid the utmost attention to this aspect of the book. I wanted it to be readable by furries and non-furries alike, so that it could be a sort of introduction to furry art and encourage further critical analysis of the topic.
The book is available for purchase in Fenris Publishing’s Bewere online store.
The book may also be purchased from German distributor Fusselschwarm; if you are ordering from an EU country this option has a lower shipping cost.
